RECAP: TASTE OF MELBOURNE 2017

Before the heavy rains came pouring in, there was one glorious day where some lucky punters got to experience the deliciousness that is the annual Taste of Melbourne festival. Myself included.

The festival landed a new home this year, setting up shop at MCG's Yarra Park. The MCG stadium does make for quite the stunning backdrop for all the wining and dining that comes with the festival. 2017 also marked the 10th edition of the festival, and such a milestone was celebrated in true Taste fashion: with plenty of drinks and delicious bites; Gazi's feta chips, cod and potato croquettes, and a tantalising selection of local and international cheeses by Milk the Cow to name a few.

It's a shame the 2017 festival ended up washed out by the stormy weather, but here's hoping the 2018 edition pans out better, sans rain.

Disclosure: I attended the festival as a guest of Taste of Melbourne. All opinions expressed in this post are based entirely on my experience and observations made during the time of my visit.
