EAT: YARRA VALLEY DAIRY, YERING

For the cheese fans and aficionados out there, the feels that come about from a visit to Yering's Yarra Valley Dairy would be akin to how a kid feels when they visit a candy store.

Give me cheese over candy any day. I almost always make a stop here whenever I find myself in the Yarra Valley region. Visits to the area often involve some form of eating, so some occasions warrant takeaway over eating in when there is no stomach room for cheese. Their range of handmade artisan farmhouse cheese are made on site at the cheese factory using fresh quality milk from cows of the Yarra Valley diary farm or goats’ milk from the Gippsland region. Tastings are available to be visitors but for most people, a taste simply won’t be enough! The cheeses, alongside other regional produce and local wines, are available for purchase. The dine in menu features their signature cheese plates, local breads and crackers, and charcuterie style produce, accompanied by gorgeous views of the dairy. Get your cheese on!

Psssst, the creamy duck parfait is also a must-order.
