EAT: BLACK STAR PASTRY MELB POP UP

Sydney's, scratch that, Australia's most famous cake has touched down in Melbourne. 

After making a few appearances during previous runs of the Night Noodle Markets and 2015's Sweetfest, Black Star Pastry and their layered strawberry watermelon cake have found a new and somewhat more permanent home here in Melbourne. Touted as a pop up with no exact fixed end date yet (and hopefully not ever), Melburnians can now get their fix of the popular cake, alongside coffee and other baked goodies, at the Carlton location from February 20th.
