Introducing the macaronut; a hybrid, you guessed it, macaron and donut dessert, which first emerged in NYC earlier this year. It's just like taking a bite out of a macaron and cake-y donut at the same time but it's more acceptable when it comes as one item haha! Dessert Parlour's tasty macaronut creations can be found at Melbourne CBD's Workshop Brothers cafe over four consecutive Sundays, with only two Sundays remaining (August 14th and 21st, 10 am - 3 pm).
